Our Orchard preschool offers a four-hour, tuition-based morning childcare program Monday through Friday.
Waldorf believes children thrive with strong rhythms. Every day has a rhythm, as well as every week and throughout the year. Rhythm and routines create a happy and healthy environment for children. It is by bringing form to their days that children can relax and trust the world around them. At Fremont Community School (FCS) we let the rhythm of the day and the changes of the season carry us along on a smooth course throughout the year. Coupled with strong rhythms and routines is a hands-on, emergent curriculum that allows for each child’s inherent curiosity to blossom.

TUITION & FEES FOR 2026-27
PRESCHOOL
Monthly Contracts: In the 2025-26 school year we will offer a 9 month contract, from September through May with Summer 2026 optional.
Application Fee: One-time, $100 non-refundable, non-transferable application fee due per child upon submission of application.
Deposit: Non-refundable to secure a child’s space upon signing of the tuition contract. The deposit will be applied to the final month’s tuition payment provided proper notice is given to withdraw per the contract.
Monthly Tuition: Monthly installments due the 1st of the month beginning with the first month of enrollment.
Registration Fee: There is a $110 non-refundable, non-transferable registration fee due upon submission of the signed tuition contract (one-time fee per child)

3-Day Program: $954.00
4-Day Program: $1227.00
5-Day Program: $1513.00
Please Note: 4 hours is the legal maximum number of hours that your child may attend FCS per day. We have a close business relationship with Songbirds, a similar program next door to FCS, which also offers morning and afternoon programs. For example, if a child attends FCS in the morning and needs full day care, they are taken to Songbirds in the afternoon. Please contact Songbirds directly for their enrollment information.
