Madison Rasmussen - Sycamore Center Director

Madison Rasmussen has dedicated her career to early childhood education since 2015, bringing together her B.S. in Psychology and her A.A.S. in Early Childhood Education to create environments where young children feel both supported and inspired to learn. Her work has spanned classroom teaching and leadership roles, giving her a well-rounded perspective on how to best nurture both children and the educators who guide them. These experiences have shaped Madison’s relationship-first approach, one that places connection, trust, and understanding at the center of her educational philosophy.

Madison’s mission is to cultivate vibrant and inclusive spaces where children can flourish. She believes that true learning begins with a sense of belonging and that every child deserves to be seen, valued, and encouraged in their unique strengths. Just as important are the connections she builds with families and teachers, knowing that strong partnerships create a thriving school community,

Beyond her professional background, Madison is deeply inspired by the joy and curiosity that children bring into the classroom each day. She sees her role as not only guiding learning but also creating opportunities for children to discover who they are, how they connect with others, and how they can make a positive impact on the world around them.
