Isatu Scott - Sycamore Assistant Teacher
Isatu Scott is an Assistant Teacher at Fremont Community School, where she brings warmth, creativity, and a deep sense of care to every classroom she supports. Originally from Sierra Leone in West Africa, Isatu is a 22-year-old college student balancing her academic journey with her passion for working with young children. Her role as a daycare teacher reflects her strong commitment to nurturing and supporting early development through play, patience, and connection.
With over two years of experience as a floater teacher and three years of babysitting, Isatu has built a solid foundation in early childhood care. She is continually growing her understanding of child development and learning strategies through both her studies and hands-on experience. Her cultural background and lived experiences allow her to bring a thoughtful, empathetic, and unique perspective to the classroom.
Isatu believes in creating spaces where children feel safe, valued, and free to explore the world around them. Outside of work, Isatu enjoys creating poetry, spending time with her two adorable puppies, completing puzzles, and playing board games. She is proud to be part of a community that celebrates curiosity, kindness, and joyful learning.
