Casey Galgon, Trustee

Initially from Wisconsin, Casey Galgon has called Seattle her home for over 10 years. After first moving to Seattle and working as a photo producer, she moved to London for 2 years obtaining a MA in Comparative International Education from the University College of London. Moving back to Seattle she most recently worked as the Operational Manager for Sahar Education, a local nonprofit. There she promoted the importance of education for girls through early marriage programs as well as building girls-only schools in remote Afghanistan villages. Her eldest daughter, Gemma, has attended FCS for the past 2 years and her youngest, Marlowe, is excited to attend next year. She savors a bluebird ski day and whenever possible loves to expose her kids to new food, people, and culture through travel.
